Wednesday's show will be a great one as I welcome a two-man band from my hometown Glens Falls, the WonderBeards. Can't wait to have a great time talkng with Chris Ristau (Vox and Guitar) and Tom Miles (Drums, Percussion, Banjo, Ukulele, Uke Bass and Harmonica). Interview starts at the mid-point of the show, 12:00 PM ET on WFNP the Edge, www.wfnp.org!
Make sure to tune in tomorrow 11 AM - 1 PM ET on wfnp.org for another two-hours of the best of rock, pop, blues, and hip-hop in the Hudson Valley.
The show will not be on next week (March 18th) as the station will be closed for Spring Break.
We'll then back back into the swing of things on March 25th. Thanks for listening and rock on!
Joining me on Rockin' with Ryan this Wednesday is singer and lead guitarist, John E. Wild, from Providence, Rhode Island rebel rock band, Blindside Thunder.
John and I will be talking about the band, their latest album, 100 Proof, and much more.
The interview starts at 12PM on the cutting Edge of the Hudson Valley, WFNP 88.7 FM (wfnp.org).
Every show is special on Rockin' with Ryan. But this Wednesday will be a little bit extra special. February 25th will mark the 2-year anniversary of my radio career and the first-ever episode of Rockin' with Ryan in 2013 on WGFR (SUNY Adirondack).
This week's show will feature stories of my favorite and most memorable moments spanning two years, 55 episodes, and two stations.
Tune into wfnp.org 11 AM - 1 PM to share in the moment.
I've been in the Edge studios covering entertainment headlines for the WFNP News for the past few weeks. But now it's time to take my seat back in Studio. Rockin' with Ryan returns for it's fifth season on the air on Wednesday, February 18. The show resumes after a long winter hiatus beginning in November 2014. The show will air on wfnp.org 11 AM -1 PM ET this season.
As always, we'll be playing the best rock, pop, blues and hip-hop throughout the Hudson Valley. And we're also planning on having a few guests stop by throughout the season. More details to follow in the near future.
But for now, I'm looking forward to cranking out the tunes and having you join me along for the ride. Here's to Season 5!
Aside from DJ-ing Rockin' with Ryan, I have volunteered to read the WFNP News. My news read schedule has not been set yet, but I will begin tomorrow night at 7:00 PM ET. You can listen online at www.wfnp.org or listen on the radio on 88.7 FM. Keep posted for more news about reading the news.
Singing has been another passion of mine and I will be sharing it with the New Paltz Hawks Men's Basketball team. I have recently been hired to perform the National Anthem for the remaining seven games of the regular season. Check out the new performances page for details.
Here's a special message from the DJ himself...
